RAE YAU
BAppSc Physiotherapy

Rae graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) in 2022 and began a career in a private hospital, working in post-operative rehabilitation and with the geriatric population. Rae then transitioned to private practice, focusing on musculoskeletal rehabilitation and sports injuries. As a sports physiotherapist for the Ryde Eastwood Hawks, Rae gained valuable experience in injury prevention and management for athletes. Passionate about problem-solving and clinical reasoning, Rae takes a biopsychosocial approach to treatment, addressing not just the physical aspects of injury but also the personal and lifestyle factors that influence recovery.
In addition to physiotherapy, Rae is a Certified Reformer Pilates Instructor (2024), incorporating movement-based rehabilitation to support strength, mobility, and injury prevention. Rae’s goal is to provide patient-centred care with respect and support, helping individuals regain confidence in their movement and achieve their personal goals.
