RUAIRI SHEEHAN
Bsc Honours Physiotherapy

Ruairi completed a Master’s in Physiotherapy at University College Dublin, following a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Science and Health from Dublin City University. He has a strong foundation in movement science, injury prevention and rehabilitation, which he has applied in a range of clinical settings.
In Ireland, he spent two years working across various public healthcare departments, including outpatient primary care, orthopaedics and respiratory rehabilitation. This has given him valuable experience treating patients with post operative needs, fractures, chronic respiratory conditions & general musculoskeletal injuries. He also worked privately with three local GAA teams, providing pitch-side support and rehab programmes, which sparked his ongoing interest in athletic performance and injury recovery. Ruairi enjoys working with a variety of conditions but has a particular interest in acute & post-operative rehabilitation, neurological conditions & sports injuries.
He especially passionate about managing lower limb injuries such as ankle, hamstring & groin strains, as well as helping patients recover from elective surgeries such as ACL reconstruction or total hip replacements. His approach is very much patient centered. He takes time to understand each person’s goals & tailors rehab programmes to help them get back to doing what they love, whether it’s returning to sport, managing day to day life or achieving long term mobility and strength. Ruairi enjoys playing Gaelic football and soccer & enjoys travelling.
